After the point cloud has been collected, various scans are placed togther into the same coordinate system. The data can be processed into a mesh (STL), and modeled lightweight NURBS surfaces (STEP or IGES). The lightweight surfaces can be easly emailed and imported into most CAD programs for downstream processing.
